Local workflow

From capture folder to a result you can inspect.

The app handles reconstruction and training as one guided workflow. You decide if and when the finished splat moves into the cloud.

  1. 01

    Add your capture

Choose a supported photo or video dataset stored on your Mac.

  2. 02

    Reconstruct and train locally

Spatial Studio handles the pipeline with guided defaults. Local jobs use no credits.

  3. 03

    Review the result

Inspect the generated splat before anything leaves your machine.

  4. 04

    Upload when it is ready

Bring the finished asset into Studio only when you want to author, host, or publish it.

Local by default

Nothing uploads until you choose to upload it.

Keep the capture, reconstruction, and generated splat on your Mac while you review the result. Upload only the finished asset you want to use in Studio.

On your Mac

Capture files, reconstruction, Gaussian splat training, local review, and export.

After upload

Tour authoring, hosted sharing, embeds, calls to action, and analytics. Storage and active-tour limits follow your plan.

Choose the right processing path

Use the Mac when local control matters. Use the cloud when scale matters.

Use the Mac beta

  • Small-to-medium photo or video capture sets
  • Apple silicon Macs with time available for local processing
  • Teams that want to review a result before uploading it

Use cloud processing

  • Larger captures that would keep a Mac occupied for too long
  • Processing from Windows, Linux, or an Intel Mac
  • Workflows that need remote processing without relying on local hardware
